Channing and Betty
Channing and Betty met in 2019 while running a race on the Nolan Trail. Mutual interest in the Enneagram and a soul connection brought the two back together in 2024 and spawned a partnership using the Enneagram as a framework for workshops and retreats. Their unique personalities and life experiences combined with Betty’s expertise as a therapist and Channing’s training background bring depth and balance to their partnership.
Channing Warrick Guvernator
I’m Channing Guvernator and I live in Newport News, Virginia. I’m a spiritual seeking, evolving, middle aged woman, working to design my second act to honor my journey, feed my soul and use my gifts to contribute to the world.
On more practical terms, I’m a retreat producer, real estate investor, Enneagram student and teacher and occasional beertender.
I have also been, a television news producer, admissions director, school teacher, corporate trainer and full-time mom.
Betty Eastman
Betty's path to becoming a therapist is deeply personal. Her father, a Vietnam War veteran, struggled with PTSD, which impacted her family throughout her childhood. She recalls moments like when her father, in a flashback, made her get out of the car for safety. It wasn’t until college that Betty understood what he had been experiencing.
This experience drives her passion for helping others, particularly adolescent girls, which has been her focus since 1996. As the owner of Betty Eastman, LCSW, and Associates, Inc., she believes in the deep connection between body, mind, and spirit, and sees all of life as interconnected.
